Benefits of attending Chiropractic Technology and X-Ray Programs at the ISCA Conferences:
1. State X-Ray Licensure - Indiana Law which requires that anyone performing x-rays must be licensed. You can simply take the class at one conference and exam at the next conference.
By allowing unlicensed personnel to perform x-rays, your clinic can be fined or your facility may lose the authority to perform x-rays.
2. National Certification – By passing the ASCT National Certification Exam at the chiropractic conference, your CAs will have National Certification.
3. Reimbursement - The United States Congress is debating a bill which will require all procedures be performed by a licensed or certified personnel in order for your practice to charge for those procedures. Once passed, the Federal Government will require all clinical therapy personnel (which includes CAs) to be certified.
Here is how the training program works:
1. Enroll in the CATS Chiropractic Technology with X-Ray Online Program 2. Take x-rays at your office for 3 to 4 months, 3. Sit for the Indiana State X-Ray Licensing Exam
Pass the exam and receive your state chiropractic x-ray license.
To maintain your status, you must complete 6 CEUs (assignments mailed to your office).
